GLR Black Diamond is a fantastic production female!! All of her offspring are award winning! Two thirds of them are champions! We're thrilled to be the owner of Diamond, and look forward to creating a few more beautiful crias! Her current cria is a jet black male who was born on 6/1/24, and we’re pretty excited about him. At 3 months old, he’s already closing in on 50 pounds, and he’s developing some beautiful locks, along with excellent luster. He’s not included in the deal, but Black Diamond has been rebred and is confirmed pregnant by ultrasound.

Diamond is a mellow and easy to handle girl. Her temperament makes her one of the most endearing on the farm. She is also quite robust and healthy. She is an excellent mother with high milk production and she takes great care of her cria.

More about her breeding: she has been bred to King of the Road, a striking beige male, who has black markings inside of his ears, and on all 4 feet. His fleece was just stunning at six years old, and is growing out nicely since shearing. A judge told one of his previous owners that he should be used in a dark breeding program. We have no idea if we will end up with an Appy, or a solid offspring, but either way we think the fleece will be outstanding!

Purchase Terms

Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received. Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. Breedings include 60 day agistment unless otherwise noted. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases or multiple breeding purchase. Transportation responsibility of buyer.
