Rowena is such a sweet and beautiful girl and she will definitely be an asset to our dark breeding program! Rowena is everything we want in a foundation female—gorgeous fleece, perfect conformation, outstanding genetics and a calm and endearing personality—don’t forget those fuzzy ears! For her 2024 cria, Rowena has been bred to Alpaca Palace Legend's Rising Sun, a beautiful white male that's maintaining a gorgeous grade 1 fleece at 6 years old! He only has a few offspring thus far, but he is passing color through along with his incredible fleece characteristics. See his link for more info. Rowena delivered a MB male, Kylo, who is a carbon copy of herself on 4/22/23. He was raring to go the minute he hit the ground! Rowena is a great mom and both are doing well. Kylo's sire, Amber Autumn Blue Northern, is an incredible light silver gray male that has multiple championships and a Judges Choice banner. Our dear friend, Sharon Rainey, had asked us about the possibility of co-ownership of the “right” alpaca a while back. When I saw Sharon and Rowena bond on their very first visit together, I knew it was a match. So, Rowena definitely has a forever place on our farm, and we welcome Sharon as her co-owner with us!
