Thank you, Mona from Creative Therapy! Aldebaran's (pronounced al-DEB-aran) quite the robust male -- at just over 5 months old weighing in at close to 75 pounds! He has a very pleasant personality and is beautiful to look at, too!

Aldebaran is a giant bright orange star in the constellation Taurus. We had no idea he’d be the robust grower that he has been, but that name fits him very well!

His claim to fame is that he's a full brother to Ganymede. Ganymede is a 15X Banner winner, including 4X Judges Choice and the 2017 AOA National Supreme Light Male Champion! His fleece only got better with age...At 5 years old, Ganymede's still maintaining a very fine (see his web page) and extremely consistent fleece, and he's passing it on to his offspring. Ganymede's fleece has the nicest handle, and it's maintaining character and uniformity across his blanket and down into his extremities.

Purchase Terms

Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received. Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. Breedings include 60 day agistment unless otherwise noted. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases or multiple breeding purchase. Transportation responsibility of buyer.
