Rebred to 4X Judges Choice, GANYMEDE!!! Her 2018 cria out of Ganymede is gorgeous! Ganymede's Dark Star of MMFA arrived on 8/30/18, and she is a beautiful medium fawn female with fleece that's exhibiting very nice fineness, brightness, and character. Dark Star won 2nd place in her first halter show! --see more info on her through her link below. Caramela sells bred again to Ganymede (Ultrasound confirmed 1/17/19).

Caramela is a medium fawn PPPeruvian Royal Fawn daughter. Her fleece has an excellent handle, and is uniform and consistent, on a solid frame. At 8 years young, Caramela still carries a fleece you just want to sink your fingers into. still has great staple length of >4" with only 10 months of regrowth at her 2018 shearing! She also has a nice disposition. At 7+ years, her histogram showed an AFD of 22.2, and as a huge majority of Royal Fawn's offspring, we expect she'll carry that fineness for the rest of her life.

Caramela's sire, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, was a full Accoyo male with a history of passing on his fine-fibered genetics to his 406 offspring. Consistent show winners and high sellers, his progeny boast 108 known champions and 329 blue ribbons in every solid color group. Hand selected by the late Dr. Jim Vickers, Royal Fawn was the only light fawn Accoyo ever exported from Don Julio Barreda’s herd. According to Julio Barreda, Royal Fawn ranked as one better than he had ever produced at Estancia Accoyo in Peru. PPPeruvian Royal Fawn was the 1999 and 2000 "Get-of-Sire" winner at the AOBA National Show, and record breaking highest selling male in alpaca history in October, 2005.

We're currently offering our darker genetic alpacas at excellent prices, and you may have noticed that Caramela's dam and maternal grandparents are all dark brown; so, she's one you should consider if you're looking for a great foundation female. Obviously, those color genetics run deep, as her breeding to white produced a little girl that carries color almost identical to her own.

Note: Special pricing available for multiple alpaca purchases. Caramela is also listed in our package deal!
