Awww, another female cria out of Dreamy and Ganymede arrived on 4/30/23, and she’s a beauty! Dreamy's first three offspring are champions -- two of them are out of GANYMEDE! Regrettably, we sold her 4th offspring before she was shown. Her male offspring out of CCNF Leviathan is also a champion and he is currently standing in our herdsire row -- he's absolutely magnificent — winning dark color champion as a four-year-old in the 2023 AOA, IFA Fleece Show Gr2 with a measured AFD of 20.1 µm)! He also received the best brightness award at that show!
We purchased "Dreamy" at the 2018 POC Auction because we loved what we saw in her amazing fleece, and we loved her genetics. Her fleece style is a great pairing with Ganymede's -- she was worth every penny! Based on her track record with Ganymede, she’s been bred back to him for Spring 2024 cria. Dreamy is a reliable producer, and she's been an attentive mom with plenty of milk -- all while maintaining a relatively nice fleece herself!
Dreamy delivered a gorgeous white male cria , Cosmos, on 5/11/20, out of GANYMEDE, and he was truly stunning right out of the box! With incredible definition to his zigzag fleece -- could already tell on day one that he was going to be really, really nice...and he championed at his first show at just over 6 months old! His 2022 2-yr old fleece holds a 16 micron AFD.
Dreamy was bred right back to Ganymede for an encore and she produced another gorgeous white male cria, Cerberus, on 4/27/21 and he championed at the 2022 CAC Show. Cerb’s 2023 two year old fleece holds of 15 µm AFD. We can’t wait for a full sister, so she’s been bred back to Ganymede for her Spring 2022 cria! UPDATE: Got one!!! Dreamy delivered a beautiful beige female cria on 5/10/2022 and she was sold to friends in Florida before she was old enough to be shown.
Bella's Dream was specifically selected to be bred to GANYMEDE; but she had to deliver her cria from her pairing with CCNF Leviathan, first! -- a much anticipated cria -- he arrived on 4/23/19 and is beautiful! He championed at his first show as a yearling (Nov 2020) and has added several championships since — winning the AOA IFA Gr 2 Fleece Championship and best brightness with his 2023 fleece, which measured a 20.1 AFD,! We named him Rigel - brightest star of the constellation Orion.
Dreamy's sire was a 4X White Color Champion, who passed way too early at the age of 9. He was out of the amazing Snowmass Sub-Zero. Bella's Dream wasn't shown, but her full sister was awarded several blue ribbons and a championship for her fleece, which is very similar to Dreamy's...we would know because her full sister, Bella Zarah, was boarded on our farm for more than two years.
Not surprisingly, dreamy has been rebred to Gany for her spring 2024 cria. Ultrasound positive 2/1/24.
