Raina sheared 16.3# of fleece in 2018!!! That's after having multiple robust crias for us--she has staple length and density that she's passing to her offspring, and she's maintaining a respectable AFD of 23.1 as measured in her 2018 histogram at 7 years old. Raina's been bred to Alpaca Palace's Houdini for her 2019 cria (Ultrasound Confirmed 1/17/2019). We can't wait to see the results, but we're pretty sure it will be something very special! Houdini continues to produce champions, and Raina produces very nice crias with outstanding fleece length and density...we just wish she'd produce a female for us!

Raina's a full peruvian -- 1/2 Accoyo, 1/2 Alianza -- medium fawn daughter of Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. She has abundant, bright fleece, with excellent density and coverage right down to her toes. She has stellar conformation, with great bone and an awesome head! In addition, she's a great mom and she has an incredibly gentle disposition. Her lineage includes Hemingway, Vengador, Predictor, Odyssey and others.

Her 2018 MF cria, Titan, out of Sunset Hills Zagato, received a RC banner in halter, with the Judge calling him exquisite, and 1st place in Walking Fleece at the 2019 CAC Show. He's turning into a really nice young male! At his first show, VAOBA, one of the judges walked up to his pen and inquired if he was as nice on the inside as he appeared to be on the outside!...well, he's pretty darn nice and getting nicer all the time! Zagato offspring have been winning in the show ring, and they are highly sought after. He is now closed to outside breedings, so we feel fortunate to have gotten this little guy! Looking at Titan this early, it appears he'll follow strongly in his herdsire's footsteps, and he definitely carries the amazing fleece length and density of his dam. Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received.

Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. For individual purchases over $3000, significant discount for cash sales paid in 30 days. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases. Transportation responsibility of buyer.
